The Early Learning for All Program Tuition Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely calculation of childcare provider attendance sheets monthly including full tuition and Tuition Credit Program. The Early Learning for All Program Tuition Specialist will conduct intake for Early Learning Program. The Early Learning for ALL Program Tuition Specialist will conduct intake for Early Learning for All Network provider to understand Early Learning for All system and payment policies. 

Position: Full-time position, Monday - Friday (with occational work on some evenings and weekends)

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Process accurately and timely attendance sheets and payment to Early Learning for All Network providers for children enrolled in ELFA programs.
  • Calculate accurately and timely rate enhancement for those state and federal contracted and ELFA enrolled children.
  • Process between 600 and 650 claims monthly.
  • Collaborate with Early Learning for All Program Enrollment Specialist to solve any attendance and payment issues under the supervision of the Early Learning for All Program Supervisor.
  • Provide support to childcare providers regarding attendance records and payment issues.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and follow-up with childcare providers regarding payment issues, ensure accuracy and policy compliance of attendance sheets.
  • Check for attendance record and authorized certificate discrepancy and report it to Early Learning for All Program Enrollment Specialist.
  • Work with Early Learning for All Program Enrollment Specialist to ensure payment accuracy and assist program manager to create a system to ensure attendance and payment calculation accuracy. 
  • Assist Early Learning for Program Supervisor to report changes from childcare providers to maintain accurate information in program database system. 
  • Responsible for sending attendance timesheets to Early Learning for All network providers and scanning attendance sheets to the database in a timely manner.
  • Conduct the new intake for the new Early Learning for All network provider to understand the payment policies and procedures.
  • Attending meetings related to Early Learning for All Program service delivery and staff development. 
  • Conduct data entry of Early Learning for All network provider information in program database. 
  • Maintain accurate and updated information in provider file.
  • Report on suspected child abuse as mandated. 
  • Other duties include participating in ongoing professional development and handling additional tasks as required to support the overall goals and operations of the Early Learning for All program.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills Required:

  •  Excellent mathematical and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • High level accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to work with a diverse population is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team member
  • Ability to collaborate and build positive/effective partnerships
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs and related software
  • Bilingual in English and one of the following languages will be a plus: Portuguese, Spanish or Cantonese.
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends.

Education Required:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in major of Accounting, Business Administration or Statistics related OR Associate Degree with two years' paid experience in accounting, payroll, billable or claims calculations.

Benefits & Compensation:

  • $30 to $34.00 per hour | Additional $4.80 per hour temporary hourly rate adjustment applies to staff who have successfully completed Wu Yee’s 90-day introductory period with satisfactory performance and achievement of all job-related goals and requirements. This is a temporary salary adjustment available only until 06/30/2025.
